Lordos Beach Hotel & Spa 4*, Larnaca (Cyprus)

Cyprus has always been on my travel list. I guess that’s because I heard it is similar to Greece, although I don’t really like to compare countries. Each place its unique and I was really looking forward to seeing what the place has to offer.
Lordos Beach Hotel is a beautiful 4-star hotel located on the beachfront in Larnaca, Cyprus. I arrived at the hotel not knowing what to expect. The staff welcomed my husband and I with a big smile on the face. The first impression matters and I already had a feeling that things started well.
Once we got our room we realized that it’s actually not bad at all, very clean and looking pretty much as in the photos, which is always a good thing, right?
Lordos Beach Hotel offers several restaurants and bars that cater to every taste and preference. The Atlantida Restaurant is a must-visit for those who want to experience delicious local and international cuisine, while the Seabreeze Tavern offers Mediterranean dishes and a beautiful view of the sea. For a more casual dining experience, the Pool Bar offers light snacks and refreshing drinks.
The best part at this hotel was the view. I always pay extra to have a sea view and each time I find it really worth it. It was nice that they also offer 2 chairs in the balcony where you can sit and relax with a book, which I did almost every day. There was no loud music you could hear from the balcony and that was a big plus. I had that happening to me a couple of times at some hotels and it's not fun at all.
We went to the pool every day. The place was not overcrowded so even though you are lazy and wake up late (which we did most days), you can still find sun beds available. That's a big bonus as in other hotels you have to wake up really early to go and occupy your sun bed, otherwise you won't be able to find any available. The beach area was lovely. As most people preferred the pool, the beach area was pretty quiet and ideal for sunset walks.
They also have an indoor pool which I really liked. It was empty most of the time, so we went there a few times and enjoyed it. It's a good spot if you want to take photos with no people around.
Overall, we had a good stay and we enjoyed all the hotel facilities. It is good value for the money you're paying and I do recommend this hotel. As you can see in my photo, I spent a lot of time in the sun and ended up having a really nice tan. The temperature in Cyprus is just perfect at the end of June when we were there. There were around 28 degrees during the day and around 22 at night.

You can book your accomodation at the hotel here.
